A group of us were talking to Puglia Cycle Tours about their Heart of Puglia Guided Bike Tour for September, but I fractured my pelvis in riding in Tucson, another friend needed a new shoulder and several other medical issues came up with other friends, so now we plan for 2027. Looking for a 4 day ride in the midwest? Take a look at Bicycling Around Minnesota (BAM) 8/13 - 8/16. It's a big loop starting in Detroit Lakes which is about 3:15 NW of Minneapolis, down to Fergus Falls, east to Perham, and back to Detroit Lakes. There are lakes everywhere so I bet is is beautiful.

It’s been a while since our group stayed at Garda Bike Hotel in beautiful Northern Italy but the reviews continue to be excellent; 100% recommended by 268 people. Plus, different group rides each day based on speed and distance. Finally, beautiful family run hotel with excellent food.

Here’s another trip that sounds interesting. I would want to be in excellent shape for 10 days, but 10 days on an e-bike sounds reasonable and I’ve talked to friends who say New Zealand is beautiful.

I don’t know anything about this company but they have cool routes. I’d love to visit Slovenia as I’ve heard it is beautiful. I also think it is easy to get there on Lufthansa/United from the U.S.

We tired to use Claudio when we went to Spain but he was busy. I would use him again the next time we go back. Claudio does everything as you can see in this post from hotels to bike rentals and might even have more American guests than any other country. I highly recommend Montefusco Cycling.

Today we have a group coming from England, ready to enjoy a few days of great with us in . We provide rental bikes, hotels, luggage transportation and gpx files for the route. Enjoy the roads here, guys!

For those of us in the Southeast, I’ve heard from friends that this is an epic ride and day. With a fractured pelvis this year from a gravel fall in AZ, this is not on
my schedule this year, but I’ve been encouraged to try it one of these years.
