🎣🔥 SNAPPER SEASON IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY! 🔥🎣

What an opening day for Code Blue Fishing Charters!

⚓ Trip #1: The red snapper bite was absolutely on fire! We hooked plenty of quality fish, but the sharks and dolphins were ready for the dinner bell. We lost around 10 red snapper to the tax collectors before they could make it into the boat! 🦈🐬

⚓ Trip #2: The action stayed hot with a limit of red snapper and a limit of mingos (vermilion snapper) hitting the cooler! 🐟🎯

The season is finally here, and the fishing is shaping up to be incredible. If you’ve been thinking about getting offshore and putting some fresh fish on the table, now is the time!

Started the day a little bumpy offshore, but we kept working our way out and the fishing paid off! 🎣

Our first 5-hour trip put a beautiful mangrove snapper in the boat along with a couple more quality mangroves and a nice box of mingos for the cooler. 🐟🔥

The second trip was all about making memories with the kids. They stayed busy catching fish and ended the day with plenty of fresh mingos for dinner!

Every trip is different, but seeing smiling faces, bent rods, and fish headed to the dinner table never gets old.

🎣🌊 FINALLY got a weather window and made the most of it today! 🌊🎣

Ran TWO trips today — a 5-hour and a 4-hour trip and the Gulf showed us a little bit of everything! 💪🐟

Trip #1:
Started the day putting some solid mingos in the box, lost a couple of really nice fish, and had a 300+ lb bull shark decide he wanted in on the action 🦈😳 We also hooked into two big jack crevalle and boxed up some good eating fish for the crew to take home!

Trip #2:
The bite stayed hot with some beautiful mingos hitting the deck and a couple of nice red grouper coming to the boat 🔥 Of course, the sharks were back at it again and stole a couple of good ones before we could get them over the rail! That’s offshore fishing sometimes! 😅

After fighting weather, it sure felt good to finally get back offshore and bend some rods! 🎣☀️

🎣 Yesterday evening’s trip was one for the books before the weather rolled in! 🌊⚡

We took advantage of the calm before the storm and put together an awesome catch! 💪 About 40 BIG MINGOS hit the deck, 2 nice red grouper came aboard, and we even got to release a couple of red snapper to fight another day until season opens! 🔥

There’s nothing better than getting offshore on a beautiful evening, loading the cooler, and making memories before Mother Nature changes the plans. The fish were chewing, the weather held off, and this crew made it count! 😎

Fishing was good today, and we put some solid MINGOS in the boat 🐟🔥 We had a couple red grouper bites that just didn’t stick, but that’s all part of the game offshore.

🎣 Went the distance today and it paid off! 🌊

Had a buddy of mine and his family on the boat today, and we put in the work way offshore to make it happen 💪 The conditions made us earn it, but we still put some solid meat in the boat with some nice mahi and some 22”+ bull Mingos coming over the rail! 🔥

Things slowed down a bit around lunch, but that’s fishing — we stuck with it, made the best of the conditions, and still came back with fish and memories made. That’s what it’s all about! 🙌
