🎣 FOUR HOURS — MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! 🌊

Nice little 4-hour trip this morning! These folks had one goal: catch enough fresh fish to cook for dinner tonight. Safe to say… mission accomplished! 🐟🔥

We put some good fish in the box and had plenty of action along the way — releasing a few short red snapper, amberjack, and red grouper to grow up for another day.

You don’t always need a full-day trip to have a great time on the Gulf. Sometimes a few hours, some bent rods, and fresh fish for the dinner table is all you need!

Nice little 4-hour trip today with this couple! 🎣

We managed to put a few red snapper in the boat before Mother Nature decided she’d had enough of us. 😂 It was an absolute washing machine out there this morning, and a little seasickness started setting in, so we called it and headed back to the dock.

Sometimes you just have to take what the Gulf gives you! They hung tough, caught some fish, and we still made some memories. 💪🎣

🔥 TWO TRIPS. ONE AWESOME DAY ON THE GULF! 🎣

We ran two great trips today with plenty of action on both!

🌅 This morning’s 5-hour trip with the boys:
We put a nice triggerfish and some red snapper in the box, then went looking for the amberjacks. We found ’em and had some fun pulling on them — unfortunately, we just couldn’t get one quite big enough to make the cut!

🌅 This evening’s 4-hour trip with the fellas:
We boxed 3 red snapper, just couldn’t find that fourth one, added another legal triggerfish, and caught several amberjacks. One AJ missed being legal by ONE INCH! 🤦‍♂️😂

Then Mother Nature decided we’d had enough fun and we had to make a run for it with a storm coming in! ⛈️🚤

That’s fishing — you never know what the Gulf is going to throw at you, but both crews stayed busy and had a heck of a time!

🔥 5 HOURS — LIMIT OF RED SNAPPER + A KEEPER AMBERJACK! 🔥🎣

Another solid day aboard Code Blue Fishing Charters!

We started the trip putting a LIMIT of red snapper in the box, then turned our attention to the amberjacks. We caught and released a pile of juvenile jacks before finally getting the bite we were looking for — KEEPER AMBERJACK! 💪🐟

Not bad at all for a 5-hour trip! The September bite is still rolling, and there’s plenty of good fishing left. If you’ve been thinking about getting offshore, now’s the time!

🎣 JACKS, SHARKS & A COUPLE MAHI DRIVING US CRAZY! 🔥

Went after the amberjacks today and got them with no problem! 💪 Put our keepers in the box and released a few shorts before switching gears and going after red snapper and grouper.

Unfortunately, the sharks had other plans. 🦈 Every spot we hit, we’d hook a snapper or grouper and the sharks would get them before we could get them to the boat. After getting sharked over and over, we finally said enough was enough and switched gears again!

We went after some triggerfish, got the rods bent, and put some good eating fish in the box. 🎣

Then, just to really test my patience, we had two roughly 3-foot mahi-mahi swimming around the back of the boat for probably 30 minutes. 😂 We threw everything we could think of at them and they wouldn’t touch a thing! They just kept cruising around the boat, looking at us and driving me absolutely crazy.

That’s offshore fishing—you never know what the Gulf is going to throw at you! We adapted, kept fishing, and still made a good day out of it. ⚓️

🎣 Not a bad way to spend four hours on the Gulf!

We started out a little choppy this morning, but we pointed her west, got out there, and made it happen! 🌊

These three stayed busy with plenty of short amberjack, managed to put one keeper amberjack in the box, and limited out on red snapper! 🔥🐟

For just a 4-hour trip, that’s a heck of a morning — good action, good fish, and another crew heading home with some fresh Gulf seafood!
