I’m hosting a group on the Rhine River this July, and it’s shaping up to be a truly special trip.

We’ll be sailing through one of the most beautiful regions in Europe, with castles along the hillsides, vineyard-covered landscapes, and charming towns at every stop. Starting in Basel, Switzerland and heading north through Germany to the Netherlands, it's the kind of journey that will be incredibly rich in experience and yet relaxing because you only unpack once.

Because another group's sailing plans changed, several additional cabins in various categories just became available. This means there’s now an opportunity for a few more people to join us.

Enchanting Rhine River Cruise July 22–29, 2026 | Basel to Amsterdam | 7 nights

We’ll be sailing with AmaWaterways, known for exceptional service, beautiful ships, and thoughtfully curated experiences.

What’s included:
• Daily guided excursions in each destination
• Small-ship experience (around 150 guests)
• All meals onboard, with wine and beer at lunch and dinner
• Beautiful staterooms, most with balconies
• A special chef’s dinner experience for our group on the first night

You’ll also have the flexibility to enjoy the trip however you prefer, whether that’s spending time with the group (of awesome people) and/or exploring more independently.

I just returned from an incredible professional edcuational journey through France and Spain, and I’m still processing everything I experienced.
Over the next couple of weeks, I’m going to be sharing highlights from the trip. The hotels, the destinations, and the moments that really stood out. But more importantly, what actually makes a travel experience feel exceptional versus just “nice.”
This was one of those trips that shifts your perspective a bit. Seeing multiple five-star hotels back-to-back, working with top-tier partners, and experiencing destinations in a very intentional way changes how I evaluate everything.

This is what luxury service looks like. I’m on the way to the airport for a two-week professional familiarization trip to France and Spain. Before I even leave BNA, I receive this message. And the stress of international travel melts away.

Spring break looked a little different for us this year. Instead of heading to the beach or abroad, we road-tripped to New Orleans and spent a few days soaking up one of the most unique cities in the country.

We wandered through the French Quarter, rode the streetcar down St. Charles, walked through the Garden District, and of course ate everything we could get our hands on. Beignets, oysters, gumbo… New Orleans really is a city that revolves around food and music, and it’s hard not to love that.

One thing that really elevated the whole experience was where we stayed. We booked a beautiful luxury hotel, and it made such a difference. After long days exploring the city, it was the perfect place to come back to and relax. It reminded me how much the right hotel can shape a trip.

It was simple, fun, and exactly the kind of trip that reminds me you don’t always have to go far to have a great experience.
