Visiting Franklin in the fall has a way of making you nostalgic for a place you’ve never been. Maybe it’s the small-town charm, or maybe it’s just how good small-batch cider tastes on a crisp afternoon. Either way, don’t miss a single golden moment with your family this fall. 🍂

🎃 PumpkinFest: Franklin’s beloved 41st annual tradition brings Main Street to life with fall flavors, live entertainment, arts & crafts vendors, and enough pumpkins to fill every porch in town.

🥕 Franklin Farmers Market: Stroll stalls piled high with fall produce, fresh flowers, and local goods. The perfect way to start a crisp Saturday morning!

🍎 Morning Glory Orchard: Frolic through rows of apples, sip frozen apple cider slushies, and snack on warm cider doughnuts. Perfect for a fall family photo session!

🧺 Arrington Vineyards: Spread a blanket among the rolling hills of TN wine country, sip a glass of Honeysuckle Moscato, and let the kids run free while you soak up live bluegrass and golden-hour views.

🍿 The Franklin Theatre: Settle into velvet seats with popcorn at this restored downtown theatre for a spooky, kid-friendly flick. Hocus Pocus, Twilight, Ghostbusters & Coco are on the Fear Fest schedule this October!

🍂 The Natchez Trace: Cruise this scenic byway as trees ignite in red, gold, and orange. Expect peak fall colors between October 18-November 3.

🎃 Gentry's Farm or Noble Springs Dairy Farm: From hayrides and corn mazes to pumpkin picking, these local farms deliver the quintessential fall family day.

👻 Haunted Franklin: For families who like a little fright with their fun, book a guided tour of Franklin’s most haunted sights with Franklin Walking Tours or Franklin On Foot.

🚜 Leiper’s Fork: Lose track of time in this artsy village dotted with galleries, boutiques, and front-porch charm. Pop into Bubble Joy Candy Shoppe and Bubble Bar for a sweet treat.

🐐 Lucky Ladd Farms & Zoo: Home to Tennessee’s largest petting zoo. Spend the day exploring corn mazes and pumpkin patches here.

Some places just feel like they were made for autumn, and Leiper’s Fork is one of them. 🍂 Chilly air, turning leaves, and a village along Old Hillsboro Road that shows you how to slow down and soak it all in.

Here’s how we’d spend the perfect fall day in Leiper’s Fork:

☕️ Warm up at Leipers Fork Market for small-town hospitality, or grab a coffee from The Steel Pony, a horse trailer turned coffee stop.

🍂 Chase fall colors at the The Natchez Trace’s double-arch bridge, then stretch your legs on the dog-friendly Garrison Creek Loop.

🚔 Snap a photo with the replica Mayberry police cruiser (and often, a replica General Lee) — one of the most photographed spots in town!

🔍 Go treasure hunting at PROPS | The Vintage Vault | •antiques•vintage clothing•gifts•, Tennessee Turquoise Company, Patina Home & Garden, and Dwell and Den.

🎨 Gallery-hop at Leiper’s Creek Gallery, The Copper Fox Gallery, and David Arms | Artist.

🥃 Sip something local at Crown Winery Leipers Fork for creekside tastings and live music, or if whiskey’s more your style head to Leiper's Fork Distillery for some small-batch magic.

🍗 Refuel at Fox & Locke Music Venue for Southern classics and world-class live music, or unwind at the unpretentious The Country Boy across the street.

🍸 End the night at The Tornado Room, a hidden speakeasy beneath Country Boy, and sip cocktails out back around the fire pit.

Save this for your next Leiper’s Fork fall adventure! We can’t wait to welcome you. ❤️
