Halcyon Ridge is an easy drive to Camden: a peaceful country home on 300 snowy acres, with room for your whole team to spread out and quiet evenings after a day at the chute.

Winter mornings here mean fresh snow and animal tracks across the yard, and guests are welcome to borrow our two sets of L.L.Bean snowshoes to explore the land.

Coming to Waterville for Colby College Commencement weekend in May 2027?

It's the biggest weekend of the year in the area, and nearby lodging fills up fast, so it pays to book early. 🎓

Late afternoon on the deck at Halcyon Ridge, looking out over the Camden hills. 🌄

One of the nicest things about staying here is how much is within an easy, traffic-free, gorgeous country drive: the harbor towns of Belfast and Camden, Lake St. George State Park, and the shops, restaurants, and colleges of Waterville are all close by.

Spend the day exploring, then come back to a quiet table on the deck and this view. 🍂

The back of the house earlier this month. 🍁 Adirondack chairs out on the lawn, the maples glowing all around, and the sky a brilliant, crystal blue. 🎉

That sunny, open stretch of grass is a lovely setting for small, low-key gatherings, too: a backyard wedding, a quiet reception, or a calm family celebration of under 40 people. Just good company, fresh Maine air, our gobsmacking view, and the woods all around. 🍁

Autumn vibes! 🍂🎃

A pumpkin on the deck, crowned with fallen maple leaves, with the Adirondack chairs and the last of the gold out back. The peak color has mostly come down, but late October at Halcyon Ridge still brings bright, crisp afternoons and quiet evenings.
