Headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Witte Travel & Tours excels as both a custom tour operator and a travel agency, with two specialized teams working in tandem to provide exceptional travel experiences for individuals and groups to destinations throughout the world. Witte’s vacation consultants provide worldwide travel services, vacation packages, ocean and river cruises, all-inclusive resort getaways, family & multi-generational trips, and honeymoons & destination weddings. Our Group Tours department specializes in custom-designed itineraries for performance, religious, student study, and special interest groups. Along the way, I wandered the grand halls of Hohenzollern Castle, strolled through the vibrant gardens of Mainau Island (aptly called the “Flower Island”), and soaked in the old-world elegance of Baden-Baden. Once you’ve felt the exhilaration of riding on a gondola through the canals of Venice, or dipped your toes in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, or stood in awe in front of the ancient Parthenon in Athens-- you’ll be hooked. That feeling is addictive and infectious, as is evident by the phrases that are used to describe it; travelers develop “a case of wanderlust”, are “bitten by the travel bug”, or “get itchy feet”… Soon, you may find that you won’t be able to stay in any one place for too long. And each time you come back home, you’ll be just a little bit different. It’s impossible to return from a trip unchanged; no matter how frequently you’ve traveled or how many places you’ve been, there is still so much to see and do and learn.
