"“We want to take our kids… but we want it to feel like a vacation for us too.”

That was the first thing this client said when she reached out. She and her husband were exhausted. Between two kids under 6 and full-time jobs, they hadn’t taken a proper vacation in years.

I just planned a vacation for a family to Moon Palace The Grand in Cancun. Here is what all they have to look forward to! A beautiful beach, gorgeous pools, waterpark, bowling alley, great restaurants and much more! Do you think your family would enjoy this resort?

If I'm planning a Disney World vacation for a family with small children and they are deciding between The Contemporary Resort or the Grand Floridian, here is the one I suggest!

I'm going with The Comtemporary every time and here's why:

- you can quickly walk to the Magic Kingdom and bypass the monorail lines
- what child wouldn't love to see the monorail go right through the building
- Chef Mickey's Restaurant is sure to please any age! Who doesn't love waving your napkins around in the air while singing with characters!
- rooms that give you unobstructed views of the fireworks from Magic Kingdom from your balcony, all while the little ones sleep snuggly in their bed

The Grand Floridian may win on Victorian elegance, but the Contemporary wins for me on convenience, iconic Disney atmosphere, and making the most of every vacation minute.

Imagine if Disney dogs could pick a Disney Resort for a vacation, where would they stay?

Lady from The Lady and the Tramp
I think she would pick Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Elegant, refined, and a little bit fancy, Lady belongs at the Grand Floridian. Afternoon tea, beautiful gardens, and Victorian charm are right up her alley.
