🤔 wow, this should be an excellent option for some cruisers

Cruising without children is becoming a bigger part of Carnival’s plans, and the latest expansion may surprise some loyal guests.

Carnival Cruise Line expanded its 2026 schedule of SEA Cruises, which are special sailings reserved for guests aged 21 and above.

The announced schedule included eight sailings across four ships: Carnival Conquest, Carnival Dream, Carnival Glory and Carnival Paradise.

Carnival Conquest had two departures from Miami, scheduled for January 5 and January 17.

Carnival Dream had two departures from Galveston, scheduled for February 7 and February 16.

Carnival Glory received three sailings. Two were scheduled from Port Canaveral on March 2 and March 10, while another departed from Barcelona on March 25.

Carnival Paradise completed the announced schedule with an April 13 departure from Tampa.

These cruises are part of Carnival’s Sailings Exclusively for Adults programme, better known as SEA Cruises.

They are not simply normal cruises with a different age rule.

Carnival promotes them as invite-only experiences with more casino access, themed parties, special entertainment and upgraded dining. The entire ship becomes a child-free space, giving adult guests a chance to relax, celebrate and enjoy a different atmosphere.

For some travellers, that peaceful feeling may be exactly what they have been waiting for.

Carnival is still well known as a family-friendly cruise line, so this expansion feels like an important change. It shows that the company also sees strong demand from adults who want a holiday without children onboard.

These sailings will not suit everyone. Families may feel left out, and availability can be limited because guests usually need a special offer or invitation.

But for couples, groups of friends and solo travellers searching for a more grown-up escape, the idea may be very exciting.

Sometimes adults simply want to sit beside the pool, enjoy dinner and stay out late without worrying about crowded family areas.

Carnival appears to be listening.

One of our favorite places to get a snack or a nice meal is in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World. The Street Food is the outdoor place right outside. Today we got the ribs, a boba drink and the salmon onigiri.
