Grassy Sound Charters USCG Veteran operating one of the safest and most professional charter services you will find in the industry. We are convenient to the Greater Wilmington area.

Nearshore, Offshore, and Gulfstream Fishing Charters. Grassy Sound Outdoors is a fishing charter service based in Hampstead, NC and offers to show you a memorable time on the surrounding waters of New Topsail Inlet. The USCG Veteran crew will do its best to make sure you have a safe and enjoyable time on the water. This involves 3 to 10-hour trips, mainly fishing for Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Dolphin, Amberjack, Grouper and Seabass, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging, popping and spinning. Your fishing adventure starts on a 31’ Cape Horn center console boat that can comfortably take up to 6 anglers. It is fast, dry, comfortable, and a true head turner. All rods, reels, terminal tackle, bait, and fishing licenses are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Fish cleaning service may be available after your trip, but be sure to bring an adequately sized cooler if you will be keeping your catch. Licensed, insured, State and Federally permitted. No glass bottles onboard the vessel. Please contact directly before booking if you have questions about the rate, availability, or have special considerations. Book your trip now and hit the water with Grassy Sound Outdoors.
