We love our four-legged friends in Harrodsburg! 🐾

We’ve added a dog waste station to our vacant lot on Main Street to help keep the space clean and welcoming for everyone. We know this area is often used by dog owners, and we’re happy to provide a solution that makes it easier to clean up when needed.

This lot is also used frequently for community events, so we kindly ask that you take advantage of the new station to help us keep it in great shape.

It takes all of us working together, and we’re proud to be a pet-friendly community!

Did You Know? 👀

Anderson Dean Community Park had over 430,000 visits in 2025 (per Placer.ai data), making it one of Harrodsburg’s biggest attractions for both locals and out-of-town guests.

From baseball and softball tournaments to soccer games, beautiful playgrounds, beach volleyball, the aquatic center, and a walking trail that stretches over two miles throughout the park, there truly is something for all ages.

Even better, the Harrodsburg-Mercer County Tourist Commission is proud to contribute $183,500 this fiscal year, funded mostly through the restaurant tax, to help operate and improve this incredible community asset.

We’re grateful for everything the park brings to Harrodsburg, and with spring officially here, it’s about to be buzzing with activity.

Spring sports season is here, get out and enjoy one of our community’s greatest gems!

The Tourist Commission rocked their ‘Denim and Diamonds’ at the Fair Gala last night! 💎 👖

Board members Jay Anderson, Kristen Flick and Nikki Elliott, as well as executive-director Daarik Gray had a blast at the annual fundraising event.
