NEW DISNEY CRUISE LINE ITINERARIES ARE HERE! 🚢✨

And there’s one announcement that has me especially excited…

Disney Cruise Line is heading back to New York! 🗽

The Disney Wish will sail from New York beginning in September 2027, with seven special sailings ranging from 4–7 nights. Think Bermuda, fall foliage, New England and Canada—and the possibility of getting that Disney Cruise Line magic without having to fly all the way to Florida. 🍁🌊

But New York isn’t the only exciting part of this itinerary release!

There are tropical Caribbean escapes, Baja and Mexican Riviera cruises, Canada sailings, Panama Canal adventures and more—including some brand-new ports of call. And yes, Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime Cruises are coming back, too! 🎃🎄

If you’ve been waiting for the right Disney Cruise Line itinerary, this might be the release you’ve been waiting for.

Castaway Club members begin booking August 31, with bookings opening to everyone September 8.

If Disneyland has been on your family’s “someday” list, this might be the perfect time to start making it a little more real. 💙

Disneyland Resort has officially opened 2027 dates for booking! That means we can start looking at the dates that work best for your family, the resort that fits your style, and all the little details that can make your trip feel like your vacation.

I love helping families experience Disneyland because there’s something really special about planning a Disney trip that feels a little different from Walt Disney World. 🏰✨

🛒 Did you know you can have groceries delivered right to your Disney resort?

One of my favorite Disney vacation tips—especially when traveling with kids—is to order a few groceries before you arrive. It can save you time, money, and the headache of trying to fit a grocery run into your vacation!

I recommend ordering things like:

💧 Water & drinks
🥛 Milk
🍌 Fruit
🥣 Breakfast items
🍿 Snacks
🥪 Easy lunch items
🧃 Juice boxes
🧴 Toiletries & essentials
☀️ Sunscreen
👶 Diapers, wipes & baby essentials

You can have your groceries delivered to your resort, and in many cases, Bell Services can receive and hold them until you arrive. That means you can head straight into vacation mode instead of making a grocery store stop!

Or, you can order once you arrive and check-in and get settled while it’s on its way!

It’s one of those little things that can make a Disney vacation with kids just a little bit easier. ✨

Missing your Disney Cruise Line ship is a real thing that happens—and it's more common than you'd think.

Here's the biggest mistake: not arriving to the departure port at least 24 hours before your sailing. When you fly or drive in the same day your cruise is scheduled to leave, you're rolling the dice on flight delays, cancellations, and traffic. And a cruise ship doesn't run on the same grace period as your dinner reservation.

Trust me, I know. On my last cruise, we had our flight cancelled and the next one wasn't for another 8 hours and it was to a different airport. It was a MESS. But, Thankfully, I had planned for just such a situation. We were late getting to our hotel near the port, but other than that, smooth sailing.

Cruise lines will not wait for you. Just like airlines, the ship leaves at its scheduled time—no exceptions. Not being on board before the all-aboard time means exactly what it sounds like: you miss the boat. This applies to every port, not just your embarkation day. Step off in Nassau to shop and lose track of time, and that ship will leave without you.

There are no do-overs here. No rebooking a later flight. No "we'll catch the next one." Once it sails, it sails.

This is exactly why timing and logistics matter so much for cruise planning.

When you book with me, you get pre and post-cruise accommodations planned around your sailing, guidance through online check-in, ground transfers to your port or airport, and an itinerary with port arrival and departure times built in—so you're never guessing.

Swipe to see how we help you avoid the biggest cruise mistake of all.

Don't let a logistics mistake sink your dream cruise. Schedule a consultation and travel with confidence. Link in bio.

My favorite family breakfast at Disneyland… and it’s one I recommend over and over again. ✨🥞

If you’re staying at or visiting the Disneyland Resort area, one of the best ways to start your morning is at Storytellers Café inside the
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

And yes… breakfast here is a whole experience. 💛

This is one of my go-to family breakfast recommendations because it checks all the boxes:

✨ Easy, relaxed start to the day (no rushing into the parks hungry)
✨ Plenty of options for both kids and adults
✨ A buffet setup that works well for picky eaters and big appetites
✨ A fun, classic Disney feel without feeling overly chaotic early in the morning. ✨ Classic Disney characters visting each table, making it even more magical for littles.

I especially love recommending this for families because breakfast at Disneyland can set the tone for your entire day… and starting with something calm, filling, and easy makes a big difference when you’re managing rope drop, strollers, and long park days.

It’s one of those “small planning choices” that makes the whole trip feel smoother.

Want help planning a Disneyland trip that actually works for your family’s pace (and includes all the best dining spots)?

Nassau is one of the busiest cruise ports in the Caribbean for a reason — and you won't know what that reason is until you get off the ship.

The port has had major renovations in the last few years. Even if you don't have an excursion planned, get off and explore the local artists and vendors right at the terminal. It's worth the walk.

A few things that surprise first-timers:

↳ It's not as unsafe or overly touristy as people say. Yes, it's a cruise port. But the beaches are still beautiful and there's more to see than the crowds suggest.

↳ It's not a one-and-done port. There are resorts offering day passes with loungers, pools, and cocktails. Atlantis is the big name, but there are options. You can explore a different experience every time you visit.

↳ Swimming with dolphins here is iconic and a family crowd pleaser. There's something about that moment — watching your kids or your whole group light up — that just sticks with you.

↳ First-timers tend to get off the ship. Repeat visitors tend to stay onboard. But even if you've been a few times, there's always something new at the port.

My tip? Get off and touch some sand. It'll do you some good.

Traveling with a child who has special needs can come with a lot of unknowns… especially at the airport. ✈️💙

One resource many families don’t know about is the TSA Cares program.

This program is designed to provide extra support for travelers who may need assistance or a little more time during the security screening process — including families traveling with children who have disabilities, sensory sensitivities, autism, anxiety, or other special needs.

Here’s how it works:

✨ You can request assistance ahead of your travel date
✨ A TSA Cares representative can help guide you through the security process
✨ You may be offered additional support or accommodations at screening checkpoints
✨ It helps reduce stress and uncertainty in a part of travel that can feel overwhelming for many families

For many parents, the airport is one of the most stressful parts of the trip — especially when you’re trying to anticipate how your child will respond to loud noises, long lines, and new environments.

Having a little extra support can make a big difference in how the travel day starts.

If you’re traveling with a child who needs extra support, it’s always worth looking into programs like this ahead of time so you can plan with more confidence and less anxiety.

Because travel should feel accessible for every family — not overwhelming. 💙
