Summer brings the heat, but our crew still shows up and crushes it. Building boats is tough any time of year, but summertime? That’s a whole different level. We’re talking sweat, grit, and serious determination — and our team brings it every single day. 💪🔥

To help cool things down, we’ve been surprising them with summer treats — and honestly, watching everyone run to the truck like a bunch of 5-year-olds chasing the ice cream man is one of our favorite parts. 🍦

Big shoutout to our four awesome summer interns who jumped right in and got to work:
• Kaden Kelly joined us through NC State’s Rural Works program via the engineering department. He’s heading into his final semester in Chemical Engineering and spent the summer with our infusion team, diving into the chemical side of the process.
• Tanner Kelly is entering his junior year at NC State, majoring in Business Marketing. He worked with our final assembly team and brought great energy to the shop.
• Maddox Kelly worked with our electronics installation crew this summer and is headed to Flagler College in St. Augustine, where he’ll be playing soccer and studying Business Marketing.
• Fields Woodard was part of our small parts team in the lamination department and will be heading back to ECU this fall.

We appreciate all the hard work you guys put in — and wish you the best of luck this school year!
