All done with the 2024 hurricane season! We had a great Thanksgiving week on the island with awesome sunsets. Now into the best season of the year, Christmas!!🎄🎅

Getting all of our damaged landscaping picked up today! Our office is being put back together and we will start fine tuning the outside this coming week with new landscaping arriving soon! Reminder that our team is off today for some much needed rest before starting on Monday!

Good Morning! We have internet and will be operating on our normal fall schedule again today! Cleanup efforts continue with a focus on mowing lawns (which are very long and haven't been done since Helene) and getting pools cleaned up.

We have had a big week cleaning up, and we may have a black eye tonight but everyone is working hard to welcome you back soon! The beach looks great and restaurants are opening up again. We will keep after it and can’t wait to see you again soon!

Our properties that remained after Hurricane Helene survived round 2 from Hurricane Milton with only minor damages and lots of landscape cleanup/replacement. Our entire team is on island today working towards a reopening. We anticipate a fairly quick cleanup and will remain closed through mid November. We have limited electricity and mobile services currently. Look for an email communication no later than tomorrow from us.

We are currently in Bradenton where inland is dealing with many of the same problems regarding power, internet and cellular reception. We expect to enter Holmes Beach tomorrow morning (Anna Maria City is likely Monday or Tuesday opening to residents) and be able to walk to each of the homes. First drone videos out appear to show that Lizzie Lu’s faired well for yet a second storm. We will get a better picture tomorrow. In Bradenton it seems half of the street lights are operating and only necessary stores are open on generator power with some lucky enough to have power. We are currently cancelled through mid November and will make adjustments to that as we have more information. Thank you!

To our guests, our entire team has evacuated the island and corresponding zones as of this evening to stay out of harm’s way. We spent the last two weeks every day doing things we would prefer not from storm prep, to storm cleanup and back to storm prep in the most extreme form we have ever done. Pray for our little island and the families impacted. We’ll see you as soon as we can on the other side of this storm. Picture below was the last one on the way off the island today.

We are continuing to work hard to return some sense of normal to the island. We have so many friends whose homes and businesses have been greatly impacted.

A Rental Moratorium was approved last night for 45 days which was not unexpected. We will continue cancelling reservations in that 45 day time period, as well as those impacted by damaged homes, and those being requested.

Thank you for being patient with us, everyone we have spoken with has been so very kind. You can expect another email from us today with greater detail regarding reservations and cleanup efforts.

City commissioners in Holmes Beach voted Wednesday to put a vacation rental moratorium in place for 45 days after Hurricane Helene left behind a path of destruction in the area.
