When in Bali… Today the hotel temple celebrated its Odalan, its anniversary, which comes around every 6 months on the Balinese calendar.

The women carried in gebogan, tall towers of fruit, leaves, and flowers stacked by hand into offerings to the gods. Each one takes hours to build, and every piece has meaning.
