Who came back to celebrate 4th of July week with us?
Bill & Jill from Colorado!
This was their sixth time spending Independence Day at Beachfront Bliss Villas.
This year, Bill’s sister Peggy stayed onsite. We’ve known her for many years as she always used to stay down Beach Trail from us. This year she made the move and she loved it so much we’ll see her for 2 weeks next year! Peggy’s son Jake (Jaxx Beach) joined her along with Jake’s wife Jamie, sons Wheeler & Reed. We’ve seen both boys every summer and they are darling. They are like 2 fish in the pool and love to surf 🏄 in the gulf. The good thing about the rainy weather they had all week was that the surfing was good!
Peggy’s other son Matt (CO) brought one of his daughters (Maggie)for some fun in Florida with her cousins!
One rainy day they all went 🎳 and Bill always grills 🌭 hot dogs on the 4th. This year he grilled 45 of them!
It’s always great to have and see this family every summer. 💛

Remember when walking in the gulf to do the “Stingray Shuffle” so as not to step on one. Our beach doesn’t really get them but there’s always that chance!

If you don’t want to “beach” it every day, I recommend visiting The Florida Botanical Gardens just across the bridge in Largo. (Less than 4 miles away) I took our 2 grandsons last month and they had a great time!
