🚨 HOT TAKE: Disney is finally updating Carousel of Progress… and honestly? It’s LONG overdue. 👀

For a ride built around the “future,” the ending has felt stuck in the past for years. Families today look different. Technology looks different. The world looks different. And Disney finally seems ready to bring that final scene into this century. 🙌🏽🏳️‍🌈👩🏽‍💻👨🏻‍🦽👵🏾

And here’s what makes this even bigger…
Carousel of Progress is the ONLY attraction in Disney World that Walt Disney himself personally worked on. 🏰

Which is exactly why this conversation has fans SO divided.

Some fans will scream “don’t touch a classic”…
But Walt Disney literally believed in progress. That was the whole point. 💭

The LAST major update to Carousel of Progress happened in 1993 😳
(Yes… before smartphones, streaming, social media, and half the people riding it today were even born.)

With Josh D’Amaro stepping into a bigger leadership role at The Walt Disney Company, there’s talk of a MAJOR shake-up… including a possible “super app” that combines everything—parks, cruises, and even Disney+.

Sounds convenient… but is it REALLY? 🤔

Here’s where I’m torn ⬇️

👍 PROS:
• One app = less bouncing around
• Potentially smoother planning (in theory 👀)

👎 CONS:
• One giant app = MORE storage (not less)
• If it crashes… EVERYTHING crashes 😬
• Could get cluttered FAST instead of “simplified”

Because let’s be real… Disney doesn’t exactly have a simple track record when it comes to tech 💀
