Celebrate Earth Day around the Brownsville Square with walking, running, food trucks, bouncy houses, local vendors, and our charming shops and restaurants! Enjoy kids' activities hosted by Brownsville Parks and Recreation, make Earth Seeds, and check out booths from Ford @ Blue Oval City, Blue Oval SK, and Willow Oaks Farm. Plus, don't miss live music at the AMP — Rita Perry from 11 AM-2 PM and Bobby Stokley and the Bandits from 3-6 PM. Join us April 25th-27th.

Park Day at Parker's Crossroads Battlefield

The Parker's Crossroads Battlefield Association will host the annual Park Day on Saturday April 26, 2025. Activities will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 1:00 p.m. Event will commence at the Activities Building located at 150 Federal Lane, Tour Stop 7 at Parker's Crossroads, on the South Battlefield Park. Park Day projects include garden planting and clean-up, trash and leaf removal, marker clean-up, and split rail fence repair. Bring your rakes, shovels and gloves and learn new skills! Volunteers will receive an official Park Day bandana. Park Day can also fulfill the service requirements associated with scout groups, student organizations and training corps programs of many school systems.
