Aloha! Our family of four wants to share Aloha with you! We fell in love with Maui and feel a strong connection to it. Hawaii is a special place.

We invite you to the Island of Maui to experience that same connection. We have a place waiting for you. 🌺 We own a 2 bedroom 2 bath with laundry, full kitchen and Air Conditioning at the Maui Banyan located in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. We purchased this condo from the previous owners on April 30th, 2024. We are turning this condo into a luxurious and comfortable place for families to stay and enjoy Maui. There are a few options for renting the place to include a 1br 1ba with the kitchen (sleeps 4-5) and/or a separate studio with kitchenette. Both places have a beautiful lanai with garden views.

Looking to book direct in Maui? Don’t know who to trust?…

We are Maui Ohana and (my wife and I, Cat & Jarred) have been hosting since April 2024 and have had many happy guests stay in our condo at the Maui Banyan in Kihei.

We book with Airbnb for those who feel more comfortable with that option. We started to book directly in 2025 so folks can spend more of their money enjoying Maui.

Happy Aloha Friday, everyone 🎃 Our Halloween ride is still on for tonight, weather permitting. We will keep an eye on the weather and post any cancellations or updates right here in this thread. Fingers crossed the rain holds off because we are looking forward to riding with everyone tonight! Costumes are encouraged but not required. Our story
My wife Cat and I (Jarred) met in high school in a desert town in Southern California. You may have heard of it, Twentynine Palms. We had big dreams of making a new life together preferably near the ocean and specifically in Hawaii. She went to college, I went into the military (then college). Through lots of hard work and dedication, a ton of luck and support, we managed to build a life together. Fast forward more than 29 years, we have two beautiful teenage boys, and a place in Maui that will ultimately help us reach our goal of retiring in paradise.

We have poured our hearts into our condo at the Maui Banyan (in Kihei) so we and our future guests will enjoy the comfort of home while traveling. Having been to Maui many times, we developed a strong love and connection to the island. Our hope is we can help others make the same connection to the islands.

We want people to come and experience the culture and beauty of Maui. To learn the history and respect its beauty and its people.

I never knew what I was missing…
