Celebrating 45 years of hospitality in the Riviera Maya with Grupo Lomas during Lomas Appreciation Week 2026.

Today, we gathered at the Nickelodeon Grand Theater to hear what’s happening at Lomas now—and get a peek at what’s ahead.

And tonight? We’re heading back to Nickelodeon for the Aqua Nick Dinner Experience…and apparently, I’m getting slimed! 💚

On this day in 2021, Bar Harbor, Maine. 🌻

I don’t remember what made me stop and photograph this sunflower, but I have a pretty good idea. There’s something inherently optimistic about a sunflower—the way it reaches for the light, bright and hopeful.

Maybe that’s part of what draws me to travel, too. We go looking for something new, something beautiful, something that makes us stop in our tracks and pay attention.

Five years later, this sunflower still makes me smile. And I’m still following the light.
