✈️ A LITTLE CHANGE AT EMBARK TRAVEL — AND AN IMPORTANT ONE TO SHARE ❤️💙

I want to take a moment to share a change to my booking policies beginning November 1, 2026.

When you book a vacation with Embark Travel, there is so much more that happens behind the scenes than simply clicking “book.”

There is time spent listening to what you want, researching destinations and resorts, comparing options, searching for the right itinerary, reviewing policies, answering questions, securing reservations, monitoring your trip, and making sure all the little details come together to create a vacation that is truly right for you.

I genuinely love doing this. ❤️ It’s why I became a travel advisor.

But when a trip that I have spent hours researching, planning, and booking is later cancelled, all of that time and expertise has already been invested — and, until now, there has been no compensation to Embark Travel for that work.

Effective November 1, 2026, Embark Travel will implement a $50.00 cancellation fee for any booked trip that is cancelled by the client.

This fee is separate from and in addition to any cancellation penalties charged by the travel supplier. Supplier cancellation penalties vary depending on the trip and may include the loss of a deposit or other payments.

This isn't about making cancellations difficult. I completely understand that sometimes life happens. Plans change, emergencies arise, and circumstances are beyond our control.

This small fee simply recognizes the time, knowledge, research, and professional service that goes into planning your vacation — even when that vacation ultimately doesn't happen.

When you choose to book with a travel advisor, you're not just paying someone to make a reservation. You're investing in expertise, personalized service, guidance, and someone who is there to help you navigate the journey from the moment you begin planning until you return home.

I am incredibly grateful for every single client who trusts me with their vacations. Your business and your confidence in Embark Travel mean more to me than you know. ❤️

Which polite things are you guilty of while on a cruise?

For me:
✅ #1 - I'm southern - I talk a lot and can't help it!!
✅ #2 - Obsessed with keeping my cabin clean
✅ #4 - back to #2 - Obsessed - I do this at restaurants too. I feel the need to stack all the plates neatly after dinner and clean off the table - Serious OCD issue there
✅ #12 - Circle back to #1 - I talk A LOT! I need a shirt that says, "Help, I'm talking and I can't shut up!" 🤣🤣
