🇵🇹 September is a pretty special month for me.
I’m celebrating 3 years since I left Corporate America to focus full-time on Travel Queen and 2 years since my family and I moved to Lisbon, Portugal. 🩷
When I left corporate, I knew I wanted more time to grow my business but I didn’t realize how much that decision would change my life.
It allowed me to focus on Travel Queen, build relationships with local supplier partners, and travel more intentionally so I can bring those experiences back to my clients.
Since then, I’ve explored Argentina, Brazil, more of Italy, Grenada, Saint Vincent, Greece, Turkey, France, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, and so much more. 🌍
And living in Portugal has been its own adventure.
In two years, I've explored Mora, Porto, Sintra, Nazaré, Fátima, Costa da Caparica and this month, The Algarve. 🇵🇹
On a personal level, this immigration experience has also opened my eyes to what it takes to move to another country and start over. It has given me an even greater appreciation for the people who make that leap in search of a better life.
Today, I finally feel settled here. I’ve made new friends, built relationships, explored more of Portugal, and feel incredibly thankful to live in such a beautiful and welcoming country.
So, these 10 photos are more than just pretty Portugal pictures. They’re a little look at two years of building a life, growing a business, traveling, making memories, and figuring it all out along the way. ✨
Three years ago, I took the leap. Two years ago, I moved across the ocean. And I’m still so excited to see where this journey takes me next. 👑✈️
