I’ve been trying to find the words since we got home. I’m not sure I have them yet. πŸ₯Ήβ€οΈ

What I can tell you is this - I expected Disney to blow me away. They always do. The ship, the crew, the magic onboard… every bit of it was everything I knew it would be and more. ✨

What I did NOT expect was the ✨feeling✨from Alaska herself.

The people in every single port poured their hearts into sharing this place with us. The landscapes were so breathtaking I kept forgetting to take pictures because I just wanted to stand there and feel it. The food (on the ship AND off) was incredible. The weather was shocking in the best way. And from the moment we arrived in Vancouver to our last port in Skagway, we were met with nothing but warmth. πŸ”οΈπŸ‹

I don’t say this lightly - this trip changed me. ❀️

Alaska and Canada, you have my whole heart now.

Today was the kind of day that reminds you how big and wild and beautiful this world really is.

We started on the water for a whale watching tour and complete with β€” humpbacks AND orcas. Sea lions. Otters. Seals. I was standing on that boat with my jaw on the floor the entire time. ✨

Then we headed into the Alaskan rainforest β€” yes, Alaska has a rainforest and it is STUNNING β€” in search of bears. Bald eagles soaring overhead, the most gorgeous forestry surrounding us, and a gondola ride up the mountainside that I honestly could have stayed on forever. πŸ¦…πŸ”οΈ

I keep saying I have no words and then somehow finding them β€” but today really was something else. This destination has layers I did not expect and every single one of them is worth experiencing. ❀️❀️❀️

Day 4 and we were SO ready to feel some land beneath our feet! πŸ˜‚β€οΈ

Pulling up to port this morning did not disappoint β€” Skagway stops you in your tracks the second you step off the ship. πŸ”οΈ

We hopped aboard the White Pass Railway and the views from the peak. Just mountain after mountain after mountain.

After the train we wandered the most adorable little town β€” local fish and chips, a locally brewed ale, and some of the happiest people I have ever met. We popped into the shops and bakery and soaked up every second of the most perfect weather day. πŸͺ™β˜€οΈ

🌊 β˜€οΈGolden hour hits a little different on the Pacific Ocean. Our first day aboard the Disney Magic was filled with just that. MAGIC.

Yes- the service and the care you get from Disney is ALWAYS above and beyond aboard their ships- but the backdrop that comes along with this sailing CANNOT be portrayed well enough unless you are here.

We keep catching ourselves just watching and standing still. And while I am here to share every moment of this experience with you all, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to ever share that ✨feeling✨.

Because it’s that feeling that makes every bit of a trip like this worth while.

Layers. Rain jacket. Binoculars β€” yes, actually. And ALSO some formal night looks because Disney Cruise Line does not skip the magic just because there’s a glacier outside the window. ✨

The amount of thought that goes into a trip like this is exactly why I always say β€” let someone who knows help you plan it. I am literally living the client experience right now and it is making me so much better at what I do.
