Summer feels long when you’re in it.

But I feel it with my own girls…they’re getting older, and while it’s still great, nothing beats those younger years when a family trip felt like the most exciting thing in the world.

There’s a window when they’re old enough to experience it, but still young enough that going together is everything.

That window doesn’t stay open forever.

If you’ve been pushing that summer trip to “next year,” this is your sign to start planning.
