I have to admit, there is something pretty special about walking into a Disney resort and seeing that HUGE Christmas tree. ❤️

But I know some people would rather keep their Disney and Christmas vacations completely separate!

🎄 Disney Christmas Pro Tip: You do NOT have to buy a Christmas party ticket to have a very merry Disney vacation. ❤️

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights are fun extras but Christmas is happening all over Walt Disney World.

🏨 Visit the Disney resorts to see their incredible decorations.
🌎 Spend time at EPCOT enjoying the holiday atmosphere around World Showcase.
🎄 Check out the completely different decorations and holiday touches at each park.
🍪 Grab a seasonal treat or two because obviously that counts as important vacation planning. 😂

And one of my favorite ideas?

Plan a resort-hopping afternoon or evening just to see the decorations. The Deluxe resorts especially can be destinations themselves during the holidays.

That's something I think people sometimes miss when planning a Disney Christmas trip:

You don't have to add every separately ticketed event to make the vacation feel special.

Sometimes slowing down and enjoying everything that's already around you is part of the magic. ✨

Maybe you’re ready to squeeze in one more vacation before 2026 is over.
Maybe you’re already dreaming about 2027.

Or maybe you just know you want to GO somewhere and have absolutely no idea what trip makes sense yet. 😂

So which one is calling your name?

And yes that last answer is completely acceptable. ❤️
You don’t need to know the resort.
You don’t need to know the ship.
You don’t need to know how many park days you need.
You don’t even need to know exactly when you want to go.

Give me a starting point who’s traveling, what kind of vacation sounds good and what budget feels comfortable and we can start narrowing it down from there.

✈️ Travel Agent confession: Planning YOUR vacation is sometimes easier than planning my own. 😂

When I’m helping a client, I can look at the options and say:
“That resort makes the most sense.”
“You probably don’t need that.”
“This is worth spending a little more on.”

But when it’s MY vacation?
Suddenly I want to stay at three different resorts, eat at 14 restaurants and somehow fit everything into one trip. 😂

I think that’s because I genuinely love the planning part almost as much as the vacation itself. ❤️

And maybe that’s why I enjoy helping other people with their trips so much.
You get to be excited about the vacation. I get to obsess over the details. 😉
Seems like a pretty good arrangement to me.

Sometimes the best Disney plan is knowing when to SLOW DOWN.

Sleep in one morning.
Head back to the resort for a few hours.
Sit by the pool. 🍹
Have a long lunch.
Then head back to the parks refreshed and ready for the evening. ✨

This is especially important for Disney Adults and multigenerational families. Your vacation doesn’t need to become an endurance competition.

I’d much rather plan a trip you actually ENJOY than one where everyone is exhausted by Day 3.

💦 That little spring inside Disney’s Wilderness Lodge? It’s telling a much bigger story. 👀

Imagineers designed the water to appear to flow from the lobby, outside to Silver Creek Falls and toward the pool. Keep exploring toward Bay Lake and you’ll find the 120-foot Fire Rock Geyser!

📌 Next visit, start in the lobby and follow the water. You’ll never walk past it the same way again.

Because your stateroom choice can make a bigger difference than you might think.

You’ll generally be choosing between:

⚓ Inside
🌊 Oceanview
🌅 Verandah
✨ Concierge

But the room category is only part of the decision.

Where is it located on the ship? Forward, midship or aft?

How many people need to sleep there?

Would connecting rooms make more sense for your family?

And do you really need that verandah or would you rather save on the room and spend that money somewhere else? 💰

There isn’t one “best” Disney Cruise stateroom.

The goal is to find the one that fits how YOU travel and what you want to spend. ❤️

That’s also one of the benefits of working with a travel agent. You don’t have to figure out the ship, itinerary AND stateroom by yourself.

Because choosing a cruise isn't just about choosing a ship.
It's also about deciding what you want the vacation to FEEL like.

🎨 JUST BOOKED! A Disney Adults couples getaway to experience EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts! ❤️

They’re staying at Pop Century, which means easy Skyliner access to EPCOT and plenty of time for art, amazing food and a little Disney magic together.

A long weekend at Disney without the kids? I fully support this decision. 😂
