Our day at Blizzard Beach!

Waterslides, lazy river, wave pool, sunshine and SO much family fun! We made the most of our day at one of Disney’s two water parks—and the boys definitely kept us busy! 😂

One of the perks of staying at a Disney Resort this summer is a complimentary water park day on your check-in day! For a family of six, that can be a pretty awesome savings.

We spent the day relaxing, riding slides, and making the most of this little Disney bonus!

Popped over to Wilderness Lodge for breakfast at Whispering Canyon Cafe!

The food was SO good, and the atmosphere is just as fun as you’d expect from Whispering Canyon. It’s one of those meals where the experience is just as memorable as the food! 🤠

And a little tip… make sure you ask for ketchup! Trust me, it’s part of the fun!

Did you know there’s a bus from Fort Wilderness to Wilderness Lodge? It’s subject to availability, but when it’s running, it makes popping over for breakfast super easy!

Fort Wilderness, here we come!

So excited to be staying at the Fort Wilderness Cabins with my boys! ❤️ A little Disney magic, a little nature, and lots of room to relax and make memories together.

The cabins are such a great option for families of 6 (or anyone who loves a little more space and a little taste of the great outdoors!).

6 carry-ons. 1 checked bag. 💰✈️

Travelling with a family of 6 can get expensive FAST, so we’ve learned a few tricks to save where we can!

One of my favourite packing hacks: take advantage of airlines that allow a free carry-on!

We each bring a carry-on with our clothes, so that’s 6 bags of clothing—without paying to check them!

Then we check ONE bag for the whole family. That bag holds all of our toiletries, plus the snacks we bring from home. 🧴🍿

And here’s the bonus: we eat the snacks while we’re on vacation, which means that same checked bag has plenty of room on the way home for souvenirs!

We’re also often offered the option to check our carry-ons for FREE when we get to the airport, so we’ll happily take advantage of that when it’s available.

It might take a little more planning, but with a family of 6, every little savings adds up!

After enough Disney trips (and a LOT of trial and error 😅), I’ve learned there are a few things I never leave home without!

☀️ **Cooling towels** — because Florida heat is no joke
🧴 **Hand sanitizer** — especially with four kids!
💨 **Portable fans** — a lifesaver while waiting in lines
🍿 **Snacks** — because someone is ALWAYS hungry 😂
💧 **Water flavour drops** — because staying hydrated is SO important, and sometimes a little flavour makes it much easier to keep drinking!

These might seem like small things, but they can make a BIG difference in your park day!
