While this sunny clearing in Wilhoit Springs Park looks like a secret garden today, over a century ago it was a thriving resort hub where visitors flocked to experience the natural mineral springs. Now, it's one of our favorite hidden gems for a peaceful weekend picnic or a quiet walk among the trees. You can still find two types of natural springs on the property—a bubbly soda spring and a mineral spring.
