A day to celebrate the unofficial footwear of vacation mode. Whether you're strolling to the beach, grabbing a poolside drink, or just soaking up the sun, flip flops are always the right choice.

Are flip flops packed in every suitcase you take? Even if not for the beach, I sometimes bring them for shower shoes, quick lobby trips, or to run down the hall.

Did you know that chocolate has its origins in Mexico? The ancient Mesoamerican civilizations, such as the Aztecs and Mayans, were among the first to cultivate cacao trees and made a beverage from the beans. The drink was called "xocolātl," and they believed it had mystical and aphrodisiac properties.

Today is National Wine Day. I have had the opportunity to taste wine in some amazing places. Most recently it was in Croatia on my yacht adventure with IWorld of Travel. We tasted wine on the stunning Dalmatian coast at 3 unique wineries, including one that ages it's wine underwater. Where is the best wine you have tasted?

Just had the most unforgettable experience truffle hunting with dogs in the magical forests of Istria, Croatia! Watching these amazing dogs sniff out hidden treasures beneath the earth was incredible—and the aroma of fresh truffles? Absolutely heavenly. A true bucket-list adventure
