Captain Tyler Ryan is a United States Coast Guard licensed Master Boat Captain, and Nationally Certified Power Boat Instructor based on Lake Murray, South Carolina. From amazing experiences on the water, learning about the amazing history of "Miss Murray," spending a lazy day on one of the many beaches accessed only by boat, to checking out some of the amazing real estate, you will love the feelin

g of wind in your hair. Captain Tyler has been in around the water his whole life, growing up in the lakes of New Hampshire and Vermont, several years in Charleston, playing up and down the Intracoastal Waterway, and then to The Midlands of South Carolina on Lake Murray. Captain Tyler is also an avid water sports fan, and operates AquaFun Paddle, which rents kayaks and standup paddle boards. He is an instructor for both, as well. In addition to charters and tours Captain Tyler provides hands-on boat instruction to new boaters, and even serves as an Adjunct Professor in the University of South Carolina's Physical Education Program, teaching boating and sailing to USC students. He also leads jet ski tours and instruction. Captain Tyler holds a United States Coast Guard Boat Charter Captain License.

BOATING SAFETY WEEK BOATING 101 SAFETY TIP:
In a crossing situation, the boat on the left must "give way" to the boat on the right, which must maintain course and speed. Three times yesterday, this important safety rule was broken - in the course of about 2 hours.

If you are out on the water, please invest in safety and take a hands-on boating course, with a nationally certified instructor.

Learn the rules and get some skill. If not for you, for the other families out there.

WACKY UPDATE -
Based on the possibility of rain and the reality of low clouds, the "Official" start to the Wacky Wednesday Foundation "Wack-Season" will be NEXT week.
The food sponsors, Na'cho Margarita and Carolina Wings, DJ, TV broadcast and aviation will be NEXT WEEK.
We'll still be out there tomorrow for another "practice run," with T-shirts etc.
