The online forums are a terrifying place at the moment, filled with heartbreaking stories of honest, desperate families being turned away during the newly restructured Disney DAS video interviews. It feels like you have to put your child’s worst moments on trial just to get an equitable park experience.
But it doesn’t have to be a battle.
Professionally, I hold a Doctorate in Psychology and have spent over 20 years specializing in developmental disabilities. But more importantly? I’m a mom of three, and I just went through this brand-new interview process for two of my own children, both with completely different neurodivergent profiles.
Because I knew how to prepare, we experienced zero friction and zero interrogation.
