Here are some things you should know before you go to Haunt the Block!

🕐 5 - 9 p.m.
📆 Oct. 15, 2026
📍 Historic Downtown Mansfield
Presented by the Mansfield Business Alliance and the City of Mansfield.
⚠️ Starting from 2:30 PM onward, N Main St will be closed for Haunt the Block on Oct. 15, 2026. There will also be road closures on S First St (from Alvarado to Broad) starting around 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
🚗 View the map for local parking lots as well as finding where detour routes are for sidewalk closures.
😊 This is a family-friendly event, where there will be plenty of activities, food and Halloween vendors, and trick-or-treating for the children!
👟 We will be having a mascot race featuring multiple businesses, groups, and schools!
🕸️ This will also be the opening night for our Wallace-Howl haunted house installation! Come and play with Eleanor, she’s been waiting for you! For ages 8 & older.
Come in your spookiest costume, and let’s Haunt the Block!

The International Festivals and Events Association has presented our team a Silver Award for Community Outreach event!
Over a six month process starting with Common Table, moving to our Community Painting Day and ending with the unveiling of the “Traditions and Celebrations” mural, residents, artists and the Community Engagement Department collaborated to create a fantastic piece of public art that tells a story straight from the heart of Mansfield!
We are so proud that this meaningful engagement event has now been internationally recognized for what it accomplished.
