🍁 Fall color is coming to Cherokee County!

Peak color is typically expected mid-to-late October, but thanks to our changing elevations, there’s a longer window to enjoy the show.

Color begins in the higher elevations and along the Cherohala Skyway, then works its way down the mountainsides before reaching the valleys, lakes, Murphy and Andrews later in the season.

Stay in Cherokee County and follow the color from mountaintop to valley.

In 1904, burglars blew open the Bank of Murphy vault and escaped with $4,000. On September 9, FairyCross Bottle Shop is bringing that piece of Murphy history back to life!
