Norman is the largest city in and the county seat of Cleveland County in the U.S. state of Oklahoma, and is part of the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Statistical Area. Norman is situated approximately 20 miles south of downtown Oklahoma City and is the third largest city in the state. As of 2006, the city was estimated to have 102,827 full-time residents. It is the business and employment center of Cleveland County.

Norman has a spot on the craft cocktail family tree 🍸🌳

Seriously.

The story behind Scratch Kitchen & Cocktails stretches from the cocktail revival in New York and Chicago all the way back to two childhood friends from Norman, one of whom would eventually open a restaurant downtown.

And that’s only the beginning.

We talked with Scratch owner Brady T. Sexton about the people who inspired him, the eight cocktails that helped launch the restaurant and why, after more than a decade, the menu is always evolving.

The 12th Annual Downtown Norman Fall Fest is creeping into Downtown Friday, October 23 from 6–9 p.m. with candy, costumes, inflatables, live performances and a costume contest to close out the night.

Quick game day shuttle update, Sooner Nation! 🏈🛺

We’re running a slightly different play for Saturday’s game against Kentucky. With one shuttle temporarily sidelined, our remaining cart will make a continuous loop along the east route before kickoff only.

Once the game starts, the shuttle will stop running and will not return after the game.
