Your newest Norman game day hack costs exactly $0 🤝

VisitNorman’s FREE golf cart shuttles are rolling for every OU home game, connecting Downtown Norman with Campus Corner before AND after the game! 🏈

📍 Free parking on E. Gray Street? Yep.
🏟️ A ride toward the stadium? Yep.
🌃 A ride back Downtown afterward? Also yep.
💸 Spending your parking money on queso instead? We support this decision.

🛺 NOTE: Shuttles start about three hours before kickoff and run until two hours after the final whistle.

Your Norman weekend side quests have been assigned:

see a dinosaur 🦖
hear some live music 🎸
go looking for ghosts downtown 👻
drink a coffee while browsing local art ☕
accidentally find three more things to do along the way

It’s one of those weekends where “we’ll just see where the day takes us” is actually a pretty solid itinerary.

Go forth and Norman accordingly 🫡

Just another casual reminder that Norman’s arts scene is seriously cool 📚🎨✨

As part of World Literature Today’s centennial celebration, decades of literary art are coming together for a new exhibition at the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art, right here in Norman.

Even better? The opening is free and open to everyone. Add this one to your September calendar 👀👇

As part of WLT’s ongoing centennial celebrations, The Art of the Literary Magazine: The Top 10 Covers of World Literature Today (1977–2026) will open at OU’s Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art on Thursday September 17 and remain on view through the end of December.

The opening is free and open to the general public, and the exhibition is being made possible, in part, by a grant from the Norman Arts Council’s Hotel Tax Grant Program.

Come see us at the opening reception from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the museum’s Cup of Jones café and gift shop!

Tomorrow’s the first day of class, so naturally we’re assigning some required reading 📚

Not for Calc. Not for Chem. Not even for that class you already regret scheduling at 8:30 a.m.

This one’s for learning the actually important stuff that every Sooner should know: where to find your next gameday outfit, what Norman restaurants deserve a spot in your weekly rotation, and where to spend your time when Canvas is mercifully not demanding something from you.

Because your college experience should include a little more than your dorm, the South Oval and an increasingly concerning number of tabs open on your laptop.

So consider this your unofficial syllabus for doing OU and Norman correctly 🤝

Class is in session tomorrow. Your Norman education starts now 😌
