Mother Nature has decided our 25/26 season is over. Our last dog teams and snowmobiles departed as rain fell.

I want to thank all of our great guests and awesome guides that endured the coldest North Pole winter on record.

We are looking forward to start our summer dry land mushing in June

Our mushers spend countless hours training day and night with their K-9 companions to ensure they are always in top physical condition for our tours and the most difficult races in the world.

Last week, while out on a night time training run, Matt Hall and his Silver Ace crew were rewarded with a beautiful aurora show and a bit of fame for the magical aurora he was able to capture.

We finally have enough snow for snowmobiles and dogsledding on sleds.

This year, we have had the fastest ice growth, on our ice fishing lake, I've ever seen. The lake ice grew from 6"s on 11 November to 12"s on 15 November--and still growing.

We now have the ice fishing cabins on the lake. Our guests will fish in comfort and style, in our heated cabins, for the rest of the season.

And the fishing continues to be excellent. Most anglers are Catching 10-20 fish in a 4 hour trip.

We finally have enough ice for ice fishing. We have had the best start to the season EVER. Our 9 anglers, with the help of our great guides, caught 180 fish in 7 hours of ice fishing on our first day (11 November). Every day since has been just as good.

And our neighbor, the bald eagle has been by to visit as well.
