Happy International Women’s Day! I am so grateful to the women in my life who share my passion for travel. Still walking on air after returning from Rwanda, Tanzania, and Kenya. Our hosts in Rwanda (Kwitonda) and Tanzania (Kilima Villa and Sabora Camp), Singita, were just amazing. The personalization, the focus on conservation, the special touches, the accommodation and cuisine were unforgettable. Imprinted in my memory forever will be the wildlife - baby cheetahs, lions, leopards, tons of elephant, giraffe, zebra and too many others to count. The time of year was perfect - warm days and cool nights, with lush surroundings displaying the beauty of the landscape but not too much grass to hide the animals. Our second half was spent in Kenya, in the Laikipia (Segera Estate) and Masai Mara (Mara Toto Camp) regions, where we saw cheetahs frolicking, lions hunting (and some feasting on a fresh kill) and tons of other wildlife. We were welcomed so warmly to our lodges/camps, where we were so impressed with the staff, setting, accommodations and, once again, the food! Sundowners each night and a surprise bush breakfast on our last day on safari were so special. Another amazing Educational trip with incredible colleagues.
