On this day 25 years ago, America changed forever when nearly 3,000 lives were lost in the deadliest terrorist attack on American soil.

At the 9/11 Memorial in NYC, our students stand at the footprints of the Twin Towers — where history isn't just read or studied, it's felt. Running your hand over a name carved in bronze. Watching water fall into a space that used to be home to a building, a community, a different world.

Some things you can only begin to understand by standing still in front of them.

It feels like just yesterday, the crew was living their best life on Mackinac Island — before we know it, we'll be trudging through snow as we load onto our tour buses! ❄️

Labor Day weekend is almost upon us; A sweet goodbye to summer and one last grand finale before the school year starts to ramp up 🍂

A bit of history with Rainbow Bill 🌈

Last week marked the anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech, which brought together 250,000 people at the National Mall to hear his powerful message of hope.

Today, our students stand where he stood — learning firsthand about the incredible work he did for the civil rights movement. Our local tour guide, Rainbow Bill, loves sharing the deeper meaning behind our nation's monuments with our students, including the ones dedicated to Dr. King throughout our nation's capital.

There's nothing like a night at Medieval Times 👑🏇

"It felt like we stepped into a castle," said Geisler Middle School student Kynnedi Glass. "We watched knights battle on horses while we ate dinner with our hands. Everyone was cheering, and the show was super exciting. My voice was gone from yelling so much."

For many of our students, visiting the arena near Washington DC is their first time experiencing the electric dinner show — and it always comes out as a highlight of the trip.
