Most owners can tell you what their unit grossed last year. You can pull that off the owner portal in about ten seconds. That part's easy.
Almost nobody can tell you what their management agreement says.
That's the one worth reading. How much notice you have to give. Whether there's only one window a year to give it. What happens to the reservations already on the calendar. Which fees are standard down here and which ones aren't.

Owners, answer me this one in the comments: do you know your notice period without looking it up? 30, 60, 90, or no idea. My guess is "no idea" wins by a mile.
