Never disregard what may seem mundane.
What started as a tough day of fishing turned into our best “catch” of the year.
We are thankful we were placed in the right place at the right time.
Yesterday, Capt. Josh Lesley of Getaway Charters and his crew aided in the rescue of Mitch and his diving partner after the current carried them away from their boat. Today, they reunited under much calmer circumstances for lunch, a shirt exchange, and a leisurely boat ride.
A frightening day on the water turned into a new friendship and a reminder of what the boating community is all about: looking out for one another. We’re grateful everyone made it home safely and love seeing them back on the water together today.
