Is the Disney Dining Plan right for your family? Honestly, it depends. How much your family eats, the types of food you like, and how often you plan to snack around the parks all make a difference.
We’re still here at Disney putting it to the test and trying to get the most bang for those dining plan credits.
Today we found a really fun “snack” while wandering through the booths at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Miso cola glazed sticky ribs.
Sweet, savory, a little sticky, and honestly the kind of thing you wouldn’t expect to count as a snack credit. If you were paying out of pocket, they would run $7.76 with tax.
Since the dining plan is prepaid, we just used one snack credit and kept moving.
This festival is actually one of the best places to stretch those snack credits because the outdoor kitchens are everywhere.
Basically, it turns EPCOT into a giant tasting tour.
The Flower and Garden Festival runs through June 1, 2026, so there is still plenty of time for guests visiting this spring to snack their way around the world.
And don’t forget one of the biggest promos right now. On select travel dates, kids can get the Disney Dining Plan free, which can save families a surprising amount over the course of a trip. Kids meals may not seem expensive individually, but after several days in the parks they absolutely add up.
