Just wanted to shout out all the 3rd shift custodial CM's that cleaned the parks last night and the CM's that put up the Christmas decorations at Magic Kingdom. The rain was brutal, making your jobs harder and leaving you soaked.

For my travel families that want to visit Mexico...

Are you a travel advisor that books travel to Mexico with kids? There’s a new rule coming.

On October 7, Mexico’s Senate voted 104–0 to amend its General Tourism Law. Once the rule takes effect, adults traveling with minors may have to show official documents proving their relationship to the child, or their parental authority, custody or guardianship. They would show them before hotels, rentals, tour operators, transportation providers, restaurants and other tourism businesses will serve them.

If the paperwork isn’t there, businesses would be required to refuse service and report it to authorities.

What we know:
• It has passed Congress but is not in effect yet
• No start date has been announced
• Mexico hasn’t said which documents will be accepted
• It’s separate from Mexico’s existing immigration rules for minors

Until official guidance is released, we recommend that families pack:
• The child’s birth certificate
• Any custody or guardianship orders
• A notarized consent letter from any parent who isn’t traveling

This matters most for grandparents, relatives, family friends and divorced or separated parents traveling with children.

We're continuing to monitor developments and will be communicating with our travel agency clients as the situation develops.

What's the difference between Sandals resorts and Beaches resorts!?!?

Sandals is an all inclusive resort for guests 18 and over.
They have 17 resorts located on 8 islands:
Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Bahamas, Antigua, Grenada, Barbados, Curacao, and Saint Vincent.

Beaches is an all inclusive resort and welcomes guests of all ages. They have 2 resorts located in: Negril and Turks & Caicos.

Did you know when you book a room only reservation at Disney World you have to pay your first night stay as the deposit!?!?
Booking a deluxe resort or family suite could make that a little spendy.
Little tip you can reserve the room with only a $200 deposit if you call in and book a basic package.

Happy First Day Of Fall! 🍂

For this travel tip Tuesday I would like to showcase why early Fall is the perfect time to travel to the destinations I specialize in.

Early Fall is a wonderful time to vacation as most destinations are at their slow time. This means lower crowds and pricing for you.

The Destinations I specialize in all decorate for the season and have special events & food going on in early Fall, take a look. 🤔

Walt Disney World:

EPCOT'S Food and W**e Festival. Try all the interesting foods served at the food booths. The booths feature foods from all over the world, a great way to expand your palate.
Enjoy the musical stylings of some great artists at the Eat To The Beat concert series. It was on my bucket list to see Boyz To Men and I finally accomplished that last year! It was amazing.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at The Magic Kingdom. A seperate ticket event with trick or treating, characters in Halloween costumes, Boo To You parade, and Halloween inspired fireworks show. A great time for all ages. My personal favorite of all the special ticketed events and yes I trick or Treat! 🍫🍬

Disneyland:

👻 Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney's California Adventure park. A seperate ticket event featuring treat trails with special characters and alot of treats to gather.

Universal Studios Orlando & Hollywood:

☠️ For those interested in a little more intense adventure there is Halloween Horror Nights.
Featuring Scare Houses to walk through, the scare actors walking around the parks will definitely get your heart pumping, and spooky inspired food to enjoy.

Disney Cruise Line:

🎃 Halloween On The High Seas sailings feature a decorated ship, trick or treating, special themed foods, and is the only place you can meet Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, & Clarabell Cow dressed as the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus.

I don't normally work on weekends......
But super excited to get started on a repeat travel family’s Disney Cruise vacation!

That's how much I love my job, I work on my planned days off! I have no self control! 🫠
Plus it's a Disney cruise, I live vicariously through my travel families.
