✨🏰 D23 2026 DISNEY PARKS & CRUISE LINE NEWS! 🏰✨
Disney just dropped a TON of news about what’s coming to the parks and Disney Cruise Line!
🏰 WALT DISNEY WORLD
• 🎠 Carousel of Progress — Reopening in late spring 2027 with new decades, new voices from Jamie Lee Curtis and Bryan Cranston, and a Walt Disney Audio-Animatronic.
• 👹 Monstropolis — Parts of the new Monsters, Inc. land will open at Hollywood Studios in 2027, including a Mike & Sulley show, Harryhausen’s restaurant, Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza and more while work continues on the door coaster.
• 🏎️ Piston Peak National Park — Magic Kingdom’s new Cars area will feature the off-road Cars Ridge Run Rally and Miss Fritter’s Daredevil Spin-Along.
• 🦹 Villains Land — This massive Magic Kingdom expansion will feature a thrilling Maleficent coaster, a Magic Mirror dark ride, dining, shopping and plenty of Disney Villains.
• 🐍 Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent — Indy is heading to Animal Kingdom for an original Maya-inspired adventure featuring a Harrison Ford-based Audio-Animatronic and a journey into the Underworld.
• 🦋 Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto — This family-friendly Animal Kingdom attraction will take guests through Casita to celebrate Antonio’s gift, with no height requirement.
• 🎠 El Carrusel de los Animalitos — Tropical Americas will also feature a beautiful carousel with 22 hand-carved Disney and Pixar animals.
• 🌴 More Tropical Americas — The new land will include a large hacienda quick-service restaurant, shopping and a Maya-inspired play area where kids can unearth artifacts.
• 🌐 Spaceship Earth — EPCOT’s icon will receive its first major update in nearly two decades, expanding its story from human communication to the broader theme of human connection.
• 🏔️ Expedition Everest — After years of “Disco Yeti,” Disney confirmed that the Yeti will roar to life again at Animal Kingdom!
• 🌈 Figment & Dreamfinder — EPCOT is getting a new Journey Into Imagination experience that will finally reunite Figment with Dreamfinder!
🏰 DISNEYLAND RESORT
• 🎆 Remember… Dreams Come True — The beloved nighttime spectacular returns to Disneyland in February 2027 with expanded projections throughout the park and fireworks on select nights.
• 🌈 World of Color — An updated version of the original World of Color returns to Disney California Adventure in February 2027.
• ✨ Magic Happens — The fan-favorite parade will once again make its way down Main Street, U.S.A. beginning Summer 2027.
• 🦸 Avengers Campus Expansion — Avengers Campus will double in size with Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab, both opening in 2028.
• 💥 Avengers Infinity Defense — Guests will travel across locations like Wakanda and Asgard alongside the Avengers on a mission to defeat King Thanos.
• 🤖 Stark Flight Lab — Guests will board two-person pods attached to giant robotic arms for a simulated Avengers flight-training experience featuring Iron Man, Captain America and Captain Marvel.
• 💀 Coco — Disney’s first-ever Coco attraction will be a family-friendly boat ride through Miguel’s memories of the Land of the Dead with no height requirement.
• 🚀 Tomorrowland — Disneyland’s Tomorrowland will be completely reimagined with new attractions, more open spaces and new experiences celebrating optimism and innovation.
🌎 DISNEY PARKS AROUND THE WORLD
• 🦁 The Lion King – Disneyland Paris — Disney Adventure World is getting a huge water attraction beneath a 120-foot Pride Rock, retelling Simba’s story and featuring a thrilling 52-foot drop.
• 🚀 Space Mountain – Disneyland Paris — Hyperspace Mountain will transform back into Space Mountain: De la Terre à la Lune, inspired by Jules Verne and the attraction’s original concept.
• 🕷️ Spider-Man – Shanghai Disneyland — The world's first land dedicated entirely to Spider-Man will feature W.E.B., Spider-Bots and a brand-new thrill coaster.
• 🍬 Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue – Tokyo Disneyland — Ralph and Vanellope will take guests inside the world of Wreck-It Ralph for a new adventure through Sugar Rush.
• 🌎 Space Mountain: Earthrise – Tokyo Disneyland — A completely new Space Mountain will send guests into the cosmos while celebrating the beauty of Earth and the possibilities of the future.
• 🦸 Avengers – Hong Kong Disneyland — A new Avengers Tower experience will bring guests inside Avengers Research Testing Labs alongside Peter Parker and powerful Stark technology.
🚢 DISNEY CRUISE LINE
• 🌊 Disney Believe — Setting sail in late 2027, Disney’s newest ship will feature a Moana-inspired Grand Hall, Tinker Bell on the bow and Woody & Buzz on the stern.
• 🚢 A New Class of Disney Ships — Beginning in 2029, Disney Cruise Line will debut three ships in an entirely new class, sized between the Disney Wonder and Disney Wish to open up even more destinations around the world.
