👋 Welcoming and checking in guests

🧺 Dropping of laundry

🚛 And capping it off with a trip to the dump! 😅🗑️

If you need me, I’ll be running my errands with a smile on my face, willpower in my pocket, and the love for what I do.

I recently had a guest tell me that the marketing for my vintage campers here at Lulu’s Tents and Events is terrible—so bad, in fact, that they said they’d never actually stay in one because of it.

I am a human with feelings and it was hard to hear, but on some level, perhaps there is some truth to it....

Now I'm on a mission to step up my game and show off my vintage campers.

Today, I want to introduce you to Hope. 🚐✨

She is my coziest vintage campers, perfectly perched right along the Knik River.

No fancy gimmicks—just retro charm, a cozy space to unwind, and a Solo stove with the best view Alaska has to offer.

I personally think she is absolutely adorable, but I want to hear from you. What do you think of Hope?

What a beautiful night it was for our first yoga session of the season!

Join us every Tuesday for Yoga Flow on the Knik River.

6pm

Free, however, donations are welcome.

Weather permitting, it will be held outdoors, otherwise, we will hold it in the cabin.

Getting Lulu’s Tents and Events off the ground this seaso has not been without its behind-the-scenes challenges—including navigating an unexpected tent repair in my first week.! 🛠️

Through all the hurdles, I have been absolutely blown away by the outpouring of love and support.

To the friends, family, and fellow small business owners who took the time to check in, offer support, words or wisdom, shared struggles—THANK YOU. 🤍

You all have been amazing cheerleaders. Every message, pep talk, piece of shared insight, and word of encouragement gave me the inspiration I needed to keep pushing forward.

Building a business is tough.

The tent is fixed, the sun is shining and I am ready to help you celebrate your special moments.

I am so excited to announce that Lulu's Tents and Events has partnered with - Meg Thompson, and will now be offering seasonal yoga classes on Tuesday evenings starting tonight, June 2nd.🧘‍♀️

Join us every Tuesday through Labor Day at 6pm.

Pay what you can.

If the weather cooperates, plan on yoga outside 🌸

Meg has been rolling out a yoga mat longer than most streaming services have been alive—two decades of showing up, breathing deep, and proving that yoga isn’t about twisting yourself into a pretzel but about coming home to yourself.

A 200-hour YTT–trained teacher, she’s been publicly teaching Kundalini yoga since 2023, welcoming all bodies and all beings—no guru status or flexibility required.

Expect music that makes you want to move, breathwork that clears the static, and sequences that leave you feeling juicy, grounded, and more you than when you walked in.

When she’s not guiding a class, Meg is supporting her 1:1 coaching clients, digging her hands into the garden soil, or adventuring with her two kids and husband.

As one blissed-out student put it, “I always love how good I feel after one of your classes, Meg—they’re so juicy.”
