Meet my new friend, the KTM 450 XCF-W. Looking forward to many great adventures together!

I became a finisher of the 2021 Big Bear Run Hard Way, and this year, in 2026, I’m taking on the challenge once again.

The excitement and nervousness are both real as the event approaches.

Today, I installed a new hand guard and GPS to prepare for the Big Bear Run. Now it’s time to stay focused, take care of my body, and be ready for next Saturday.

My goal is simple: ride smart, stay safe, and cross the finish line once again.

What a day on the trails! 🏍️🔥

We started in Phelan, rode through Baldy Mesa and Cleghorn Trail, made our way up to Mammoth Mountain for lunch, explored more off-road trails, and then headed back to Phelan.

Out of 160 miles, most of the ride was off-road, packed with adventure and great memories. The perfect ending? A campfire, BBQ, and cold beers with good friends.
