Outdoor, Adventure, and Travel Company. Curated Experiences for the Curious! Hi - I'm John.

I'm a life long lover of history, food, culture, travel, and the outdoors. I've been organizing events, planning trips, and leading outdoor adventures for almost fifteen years now and I'm finally starting my own company. I can help you craft the perfect day touring one of the great cities of the Mid-Atlantic including NYC, Philly, Baltimore, and Washington D.C., setup the perfect family, bridesmaid or bachelor party weekend filled with outdoor adventures, awesome food and drink, or I can tour you through small towns all the while connecting you with locals and local life. But above all, my passion is history and sharing the rich history of the area with locals and distant travelers alike. Check out my company's website for more information and to see what public tours/trips/events are coming up.

Fall is definitely in the air now and spooky season is upon us. Looking for something to do in Philly? How about the #1 rated nighttime tour in Philadelphia? Join us on our nightly Wicked Philadelphia - Dirty, Scary, and Buried in Philly tours now through October 30th. Discounts available for two-ticket purchases, as well as small groups as well (4-10 tickets). Learn about the haunted history of Philadelphia, the saucy/salacious history of the city, and hear a few stories we've unearthed from the city's past. Like the first serial killer in Philly's history. Or the first bank robbery in American history. Or the most sordid, scandalous love story gone wrong you'll ever hear.

Awesome time Wednesday evening at the Philadelphia Zoo with the MPI Philadelphia Area Chapter and their annual Bosses' education night. No matter how often I visit my childhood, and America's first Zoo, I'm always impressed by the knowledge and dedication of the staff. Amazing food and incredible peeps - oh and fantastic views from the new Ferris Wheel of the city at night.

With kiddos back to school and the summer winding down a quick reminder that we're happy to make a donation or two for school fundraisers, silent auctions, bingos, church bazaars, etc. Email us at [email protected] for more information or to request a donation. Fall's right around the corner, so winning a gift for our popular food, art & architecture, or Wicked Philadelphia tours is guaranteed to help raise money for a good cause.

When the garden hands you copious, even extreme amounts of peppers from roasting & frying peppers to Ghost, Carolina Reapers, and Trinidad Scorchers, what do you do? You give a few away and the rest you use to make homemade Tabasco sauce. Nothing says "I like you" like the gift of something from your kitchen. As we wrap up a busy summer tour season, looking forward towards the fall and to two and half more months of bounties from the garden.

Over the past few years, we've become fans of the Japanese concept of Kaizen. Very simple, yet powerful ideology. Instead of aiming for perfection, or giant advancements, you focus on tiny, incremental improvements. The idea...get 1% better every day or every week or every time you try something. Kaizen and adopting the attitude and willingness to keep improving, to stay open to feedback, to learn a little more each day has helped us grow.

Case in point - leading a four-hour on/off bus tour for a group of amazing, loud, and proud Armenians through Philadelphia as they visited the city for the association's annual convocation. A beautiful day with the loveliest group of people you could ever ask to meet. And a VERY moving stop at the new Armenian Heritage Walk and recently refurbished statue of Young Meher, an iconic figure from Armenian mythology.

The random stuff you bump into when you live in a historic and major city like Philly. Stay cool today if you are on the east coast of the USA.

Busy week - but catching a VERY short break between tours and court appointments. Nah, just kidding, we wish we could fly a flag that high - but we'll settle for you liking this post.

In all seriousness - History and Wicked Philly (a combination ghost/dirty/salacious stories) tours continue all summer long. Stay hydrated especially over the next few days if you find yourself in the Mid-Atlantic!

Awesome time last evening celebrating the city's Phambassador program at the Phillies game. While the hometown boys did not win, the rest of the evening was perfect. Beautiful views, much cooler temperatures than what will arrive later this week in the Mid-Atlantic, stadium food, and a raucous atmosphere that never disappoints. Thanks to the organization and its leadership team for offering a final break before a month long crazy sprint at the height of tourist season.

Another day down, another volunteer opportunity with the Phambassador program. 20 wonderful citizens from the city meeting at the Independence Visitor Center to help manage the 3,000 Croatians marching through the city in advance of their World Cup game today in Philly. Well, unfortunately the Croatian supporters got distracted by City Hall and then further distracted by a wedding party that just emerged, so they never made it over to Independence Hall. Oh well. Back to regular tours it was. But hey - at least we got some food and a chance to rest our feet.
