Let’s get back to cruising on the Disney Treasure!

Day 3: Port Day at Cozumel, Mexico

- We did a private snorkeling tour with an incredible company, and made some amazing friends from Mexico City!
- On our tour we saw sea turtles and lots of other fish, then spent the second part on a breathtaking sand bar while stingrays swam around us, as we enjoyed the best and most fresh ceviche I’ve ever had! I still dream about it 😍
- Once we were back on the ship, we enjoyed dinner at 1923, and then met up with some of our favorite characters!

🏰✨ The D23 conference revealed some BIG things are on the horizon at Walt Disney World Resort!

Here’s a look at some of the biggest announcements from last night’s Disney Experiences Showcase:

🚗 Piston Peak is coming to Magic Kingdom! The new Cars-inspired expansion will bring guests into a larger-than-life world inspired by Pixar Animation Studios’ Cars, complete with new attractions and immersive storytelling.

🦹‍♀️ Villains Land just got even more wicked! New details were shared about this massive expansion, which will feature two major attractions, dining, shopping and immersive environments inspired by some of Disney’s most iconic villains. The land will be comparable in scale and immersion to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

🌎 Exciting updates were revealed for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Including new details about the upcoming Encanto attraction, Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent, and plans to bring the legendary Expedition Everest Yeti back to life.

👾 Monstropolis continues to take shape Fans got a new look at the highly anticipated Monsters, Inc.-inspired expansion with the land including Harryhausen’s restaurant and the “Welcome to Monstropolis” show opening in 2027! The door coaster attraction will open in a second phase at a later date.

💜 Dreamfinder is returning to EPCOT! One of the loudest cheers of the night came when Disney announced Dreamfinder will return alongside Figment in a reimagined Journey Into Imagination attraction.

🎠 Carousel of Progress is getting an update as the beloved Disney classic will receive new scenes and storytelling elements while honoring its iconic legacy when it opens in late spring 2027.

Days as sea are some of our favorite days because of all the fun included!

🚢 Door decorating: an absolute must on a Disney cruise!
🚢 Movies by the pool and unlimited ice cream…yes please!
🚢 Competing on the Incredicourse! (I did NOT win 😂)
🚢 Starting the Haunted Mansion Happy Hunt: a super fun and interactive scavenger hunt throughout the ship that allows you to pick up where you left off at any time during your trip!
🚢 Formal night with complimentary cocktails for adults and kids (do I have tips to maximize the cocktail hour? Yes I do!)
🚢 A little dancing time with Mickey 🥰
🚢 My favorite dinner show at Plaza De Coco!

Day 1! It’s Embarkation day!

From the moment we arrived at the Disney Cruise Port, we were able to get through quickly and begin our magical vacation! These were my favorite parts of our first day!

- Having our name called as we entered the ship!
- Taking a ride on the slide to the kids club!
- Sail Away party!
- Visiting the Haunted Mansion Bar!
- Dinner in the Wolds of Marvel restaurant!

Let’s cruise on the Disney Treasure! Follow along to see what the hype is all about. This is easily one of most beautiful cruise ships I have ever been on!

🚢 One of the options to start your magical vacation is by staying the night before at a Disney World Resort, and have me set up the Disney Cruise Line transportation pick you up right at your resort the day of your cruise. (Pro Tip: this often gives you an earlier port arrival time and more time on the ship before everyone arrives)

🚢 We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside in the newly remodeled Princess and the Frog rooms just for our little Princess Tiana fan!
