RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA

"Cinderella is going to create so much magic for families all summer long. There is nothing like watching a child experience live musical theatre for the first time, right here in the park under the open sky, and this production is going to be something truly special. And to pair that with the addition of Ralph Stanley II, a living bearer of one of the most important names in American bluegrass history, and The Devil Makes Three, one of the most electrifying live acts around, it is the kind of season we are so proud to bring to this community."
RALPH STANLEY II & THE CLINCH MOUNTAIN BOYS
Wednesday, June 24 | River House Concert Series
Ralph Stanley II honored his father's wishes by taking over the legendary Clinch Mountain Boys name following the passing of bluegrass icon Dr. Ralph Stanley, carrying forward one of the most storied traditions in American roots music.
A Grammy Award winner and two-time Grammy nominee, Ralph II is an accomplished songwriter with six solo albums and the highly acclaimed duet album with his father, Side by Side. With banjo, fiddle, upright bass, and Stanley's masterful guitar leading the way, this is old-time mountain bluegrass at its most authentic and powerful, a living link to the very origins of the form.
THE DEVIL MAKES THREE
Saturday, Aug. 29 | River House Concert Series
For over two decades, The Devil Makes Three has carved out a unique place in American roots music, blending folk, blues, and punk into something raw and unforgettable, known for their live performances that pull audiences into a rollicking, unrelenting groove with a punk spirit that refuses to be tamed.
The Santa Cruz trio is known for dark, literary music rooted in the troubadour traditions of wandering folk, Delta blues, whiskey-soaked ragtime, and reckless rock and roll, and their show is the kind of evening that ends with strangers dancing together in the dark. One of the most electrifying live acts in Americana, and a perfect way to close out August on the waterfront.
Reservations for Cinderella and both concerts open as follows:
Season Passholders β Thursday, June 4 at 10 a.m. (exclusive early access)
General Public β Tuesday, June 9 at 10 a.m.
