The primaries were a big deal but now it’s the big one! Get out & vote. Early coting started this AM. I was the 40th person in Providence to slide my ballot into the machine.

There are 7 ballot Qs for Providence voters. Read up on them! They’re all about $$$$.

Always an adventure trying to make it across Providence! Can’t wait for an actual bike lane network connecting Providence. The scary things I see daily on these streets keep me from riding my bike around town.

Maybe David Morales will actual bring Providence the bike lane network it deserves. The plans are there! The only thing missing was real leadership at the city & state level. Both will be different soon!

There’s so much more room on the streets for city living when your delivery vehicles are small, your cars are small, you’ve got plenty of bike lanes & public transit & sidewalks.

The journey to this tram: Taxi to train. Train to LIRR. LIRR to Airtain. Plane to Milan. Air shuttle to train. Subway to train. Train to Verona. Train to Mantua. Walk 100km. Taxi to high speed train. Train from Reggio to Milan. Subway into city. More walking. Tram time!

The US in general is so behind the times. Small liberal cities even are lightyears behind Europe. This small Italian city that dwarfs Providence has figured out recycling & composting while we still struggle.

In the few hours I’ve been here I’ve enjoyed the wonders of trains, trains & more trains. Bike lanes. Buses. Dense shops and narrow streets. Recycling & energy conservation. It breaks my heart how much time and money the US wastes arguing that the status quo is OK. We need to stop electing RI politicians who promise little & deliver less.
