We hope to find ghosts, not make them, so please help us keep our community healthy, well, and safe! To keep our guides, guests, and community safe from the COVID-19 pandemic, our tour group sizes are reduced and all guides and guests are required to wear appropriate masks that adhere to CDC guidelines, covering the nose and mouth.

There is little I love more than peering into the darkness, sitting quietly and attuning myself to the possible presence of a spirit, or learning the history behind a haunting.

That said, I am the biggest chicken out there. Horror movies that involve lots of violence or harm to people (or animals- hard pass) are just not my cup of tea. Taunting ghosts, provoking angry energies, or aggitating a spirit feels disrespectful and also not for me.

I love a passionate haunting, someone lingering because of love, a person so enamored with a place that they refuse to cross the threshold to the next plane of existence. I love the occult and finding connections with the Earth, spirits, and energies. I love finding beauty in the darkness.

Tonight, we return to the Brown University campus for the first time since December. After the events of December, I felt certain that rerouting the tour until graduation was the right choice. Students, faculty, and staff needed space to grieve, heal, and knit together as a community.

Memorial Day feels an appropriate time to return to the site where some of our nation's first soldiers said their goodbyes to this mortal world. Tonight, we will honor them as we do every year and offer our kindness and comfort to their memories.

This weekend will be a busy weekend in the city! Brown University students will pass through the beloved Van Wickle Gates for the last time as they graduate.

If you are a graduate, family of a grad, or just a human person looking for something to do, join us for our nightly ghost tour! The schedule is as follows:

Thursday 8PM- Providence Ghost Tour (our flagship route) departs from Prospect Terrace Park. Clay will be lighting the lantern and weaving tales.

Friday 8PM- Haunted Benefit Street- This is our newest and flattest tour route. It offers a diverse group of tales that include lost love, vampires, and judicial failures! Kelly will lead you through the shadows and will have some trinkets to share with you to bring the stories that much closer.

Saturday 8PM- Providence Ghost Tour rides again with Lily at the helm! Discover college ghosts who simply will not graduate to the next realm, soldiers still reporting for duty, and a dear child unable to grow up.

Sunday 8PM- Providence Ghost Tour route is perfect for the Sunday Scaries! Clay will peer into the darkness and find who lurks just beyond the lantern light.

Monday- Parasols and Pocket Watches with Courtney at 5:30PM, an elegant stroll through time down Benefit Street, followed by one of our ghost tour routes- will it be Haunted Benefit Street or Providence Ghost Tour route? Both are open currently, so whoever books first will determine which route is on for the night! It is sure to be spirited.

Happy National Rescue Dog Day!

Rhea Rose joined our home and hearts in 2023. She was found at a gas station in Arkansas with a litter of puppies, sick with heartworm and barely hanging on but doing her best for her babies. We will always be grateful to Wiley's Road Home, Mama Lauren (her first foster mom), , and Mama Lauren (her second foster mom) for knowing she deserved the world. To Jenn, our adoption coordinator, thank you for knowing she was our girl.

Rhea Rose, you are every wonderful thing. Your love of nature, your patience with kittens, your love of stuffies, and your amazing hound greeting are magical gifts. Thank you for letting us be your family!

Stephanie was guiding. She is to the right of the pillar and was waiting for her last guest who was taking the picture to finish up. There were no other guests by the building...except some spirits! The next shot this person took was quite dynamic, too. Stay tuned!
