The Tabacon Thermal Resort & Spa in Fortuna was an amazing host. Waters roll off the volcano and create thermal pools at different temperatures. Find one or two that match your comfort level! Pulled ourselves away to hike the volcano and walk the hanging bridges! Those Holler monkeys definitely made us think we were in Jurassic Park….add a few snakes, lizards, exotic toucans and red frogs and we knew we were in Jurassic Park!!! Back at the resort we made friends with the bartenders and had a fun night tasting our way around the cocktails of Costa Rica.

Beaches as far as the eye can see, and not enough time to bask in each of them... But already, let’s bet that Four Mile Beach in Port Douglas, Australia, will not disappoint you! Let's talk about COSTA RICA....or as I have now nicknamed Jurassic Park. I was calling it that when a guide was around, and he informed me much of Jurassic Park's SOUNDS were recorded in Costa Rica. So...I wasn't far off!. I was sent there to experience 2 resorts and a hotel...and the hospitality of the country. First stop...San Jose, the Capital. Here I chose a Private Guide food and history tour. SO glad I did that..I learned all the native things to eat my way through the country. Drink too! Alberto was amazing, engineer/singer/songwriter AND guide. His partner, Maria, paints the murals in the city AND a guide, too. Amazing people! And the rooftop at our hotel, Hotel Presidente. Next up...Arenal.

Happy Anniversary to ME! 19 years ago I made the leap of faith and opened my own business - originally named Seamaster Cruises, now Cruise Holidays Land and Sea! Both of us have grown so much during these amazing 19 years! And I still LOVE what I do every day.
