Three years ago on the Fourth of July in 2023, I stood on the deck of the Celebrity Equinox, looked out at the ocean, and snapped a photo of a Disney Cruise Line ship in the distance. I told myself that one day, I wanted to go on a Disney cruise.

Fast forward to this spring. I packed our suitcases and took two of the kids on the Disney Dream for an absolutely magical vacation. The craziest part? When I booked the Dream, I had completely forgotten about that picture. It wasn't until today, while looking back through old photos, that I came across it and realized the full circle moment.
It is incredible how life works out. Sometimes the dreams we put out into the universe find a way of coming true, even when we format them away in our memories.

Leaving Hawaii for Alaska felt like the craziest move we ever made, but those three and a half years stationed there turned out to be one of the best things to happen to our family. We find ourselves drawn back time and time again because there is always something new to discover.

From the magic of the Northern Lights and the world championship ice sculpture contests to visits at the reindeer farm, we never truly know what adventure Alaska has in store for us next.
