Beware of the Spirit Parlor, only at Texas Paranormal Fest, an immersive experience that will take you on a journey through spirit communication, haunted objects, grief, mourning, and attempts to connect with the other side.

Created and presented by the Curious Twins, this interactive experience is being shared with guests for the very first time.

Guests will have the opportunity to use traditional spirit communication tools, along with modern, state-of-the-art paranormal equipment they can interact with throughout the experience.

You’ll also encounter haunted dolls, mysterious photographs, and even a reportedly haunted Bible. Among the objects featured this year is a very special toy top. Tops have long been associated with divination and spirit communication, sometimes viewed as objects positioned at a crossroads between our world and the next.

This particular top carries an especially unusual story. According to its history, a spirit named René was deliberately transferred into the object, creating an attachment that remains with it today.

Come experience René and the other spirits of the parlor. You may even have the opportunity to ask the spirits a question.

I do not often share my personal connection to September 11th, but 25 years later, it feels important to look back, tell my story, and document what I experienced.

I was an 18-year-old college freshman attending class beside the World Trade Center when the attacks began. In this deeply personal blog, I share my memories of that day, how it changed the course of my life, and why I continue to believe there will always be light within the darkness.

I also share information for those wishing to visit the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and honor those whose lives were lost.
